We tear off to the deck so we can see rot, delamination, and old damage before we build anything on top of it. If your decking is bad, you'll find out from us with a photo, not from a leak in two years.
Complete tear-off and haul-away, decking inspection and repair where needed, new underlayment, new drip edge, new valley metal, new flashing and boots, proper ridge and intake ventilation, and a full magnet sweep of the property when we're done. The details are not optional line items — they're the roof.
We install both and we'll price both. Shingle is less up front. Metal is more up front and usually cheaper over the life of the house in a hail market like this one. We'll show you the numbers side by side rather than steering you.
